Refund policy

We want you to love your new items, so if you’re not 100% satisfied with an item you can return it.  Most new, unopened merchandise sold on Globe-Electric.com can be returned within 30 days of receipt of order unless otherwise noted, and in compliance with the requirements written herein.

All returns must be in original, “like-new” condition and contain all original packaging. 

All returns must be pre-approved and accompanied by a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) Number – no exceptions permitted.  An RGA is initiated by calling Customer Service at 1-888-543-1388 or by sending us an email at info@globe-electric.com.  Please keep all product packaging and the shipping box.

 

Shipping Charges
Please note that original shipping charges are nonrefundable, and that the customer is responsible for all return shipping costs and any surcharges. Return shipping costs are deducted from an approved order refund upon receipt and satisfactory inspection of the returned product at our warehouse. 

 

Requirements for Return

  • A refund request must be made within 30 days of receipt of order; no exceptions unless otherwise noted
  • A RGA (Return Goods Authorization) Number is mandatory
  • Items must be in original, “like-new” condition (no modifications or alterations have been made including cut or trimmed wiring)
  • Items must have complete original packaging including all accessories, hardware, and installation guides or manuals.


Not Eligible for Return

  • Products that have been clearly identified as non-returnable on the Product Details Page or in a promotion or offer
  • Products that have been installed, assembled, or modified (in other words, not in original condition)
  • Products without complete original packaging (including installation manuals, wrappings, etc.)
  • Light bulbs, lighting or electrical parts, and lamp shades.
  • Items marked Final Sale
  • Products received damaged, defective, or missing parts, or products sent in error (in these cases, replacements will be provided – see below for policy on “Damaged or Defective Order or Order is Missing Parts”


Damaged or Defective Order or Order is Missing Parts
We ensure the highest standards in preparing and shipping your order, however, please inspect your order closely upon receiving it. 

If the customer received an item that was damaged in transit, is defective, or is missing parts, or a wrong order was received as a result of a Globe-Electric.com error, we will replace the effected order at no cost to the customer including any shipping fees.  Refunds will not be offered in these instances.  To initiate an approved replacement order, please call 1-888-543-1388 or send us an email at info@globe-electric.com no later than 30 days of receiving your order.
