Device Setup

Step 1: Plug your Globe Suite™ Smart Plug into a three-pronged grounded outlet.
Please note that you must wait for the Status Light to rapidly flash blue. This signifies that the Globe Suite™ Smart Plug is now ready to be set up.

Step 2: Tap the Settings icon on your Android™ or iOS device. Enable Wi-Fi and connect to 2.4GHz Wi-Fi Network.

Step 3: Launch the Globe Suite™ App.

Step 4: Tap “Add Device” button or “+” on the top right. Then, tap “Smart Plugs” to continue.

Step 5: Tap “Confirm” if your device is on and the blue light is blinkly rapidly. Enter in your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi Password. Tap “Change Network” to be redirected to your phone’s network settings.
Please note that if the light is not blinking rapidly, tap "View Help".

Step 6: You have successfully added your Globe Suite™ Smart Plug. The “Edit” Symbol will allow you modify the name. You can either make the changes at this point or just tap "Done" and make the changes later.

Step 1: Open the Globe Suite™ App and from the "All Devices" list select the Globe Suite™ Device you want to share. Then, tap the Edit Settings Icon on the top right.

Step 2: Tap on “Device Sharing". Tap the “Device Sharing” button at the bottom of the page.

Step 3: Enter the Globe Suite™ Account ID (Mobile Number/Email) that you wish to share your device with. Once the Account ID appears under the “Device Sharing” list, your device has been successfully shared with that account. Tap “Back” to return to the Device Information page.
Please note that the account you wish to share your device with must be registered.

Step 4: When the Shared Account logs into the Globe Suite™ App, the Shared Device will appear at the bottom of their Home Page under “My Shared Devices:”.

Step 1: Open the Globe Suite™ App and from the "All Devices" list select a Globe Suite™ Device. Tap on the Device Settings Icon "..." located on the top right corner.

Step 2: Tap on "Device Grouping". Select the devices you want to group then tap "Confirm". Please keep in mind that you can only group multiple devices of the same type together. Below is an example of grouping three different Globe Suite™ Plugs.

Step 3: Once you have selected the devices, tap “Save” and “Confirm”. You have successfully created a new group.

Step 1: Open the Globe Suite™ App and from the "All Devices" list select a Globe Suite™ Device. Tap on the Device Settings Icon "..." located on the top right corner.

Step 2: Tap “Modify Device Name”. Enter the new device name.
Please note that when putting numbers in the device’s name, make sure to spell out the number instead of using the numerical value. For example: (Smart Plug One) instead of (Smart Plug 1).

Step 3: Tap on “Save” and the device will now have a new name.
Please note that when setting up voice control via Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant, you will be able control the device with the new name. For example: (Hey Alexa, turn “Coffee Maker” on.) or (Hey Google, turn “Coffee Maker” off.)

Step 1: To group your devices together, tap the “+” button on the top right corner and select “Add Group”.

Step 2: Enter your custom group name or select one from "COMMON NAMES" and tap “NEXT”. Scroll through the "DEFINE GROUP" list and select what devices you want to add to your group. When finished selecting, tap “SAVE”.

Step 3: Your group will now appear on the home page with the selected devices. You can independently control each device in the group with a voice command.

For example: “Alexa, turn Living Room TV ON.”


Step 1: To group your devices together, tap the “In your home” section and scroll through the device list. Select what devices you want to add to your group.

Step 2: Tap the “Add to a room” button at the bottom left of your screen and enter your custom group name or select one from "COMMON NAMES". When finished tap “NEXT”.

Step 3: Your group will now appear on the home page with the selected devices. You can independently control each device in the group with a voice command.

For example: ”Google, turn Living Room TV ON.”


Voice Control

Step 1: Launch the Alexa App.

Step 2: Tap the menu button “≡” at the upper left corner and select “Skills & Games”.

Step 3: Enter “Globe Suite” in the search bar, select “Globe Suite” then tap “ENABLE”.

Step 4: Enter your Globe Suite™ username/password and tap “Authorize”.

Step 5: Once authorized, tap “DISCOVER DEVICES” or use voice command, “Alexa, discover devices” to find your Globe Suite™ Devices.
Please note that if you need to add more devices in the future, you will need to Discover Devices again.

Step 1: Launch the Google Home App.

Step 2: Tap the “Add” button under “Home” and tap “Set up device”.

Step 3: Tap “Have something already set up?” and search for “Globe Suite” in the search bar. Select the Globe Suite™ App to begin the integration.

Step 4: Enter your Globe Suite™ username/password and tap “Authorize”.

Step 5: If successfully integrated, you will see “Account is now linked.” Your Google Home is now connected with your Globe Suite™ Devices.

Siri can only be used with Globe Suite™ Trigger Scenes. To setup a Trigger Scene please follow the steps under Smart Scenes
Step 1: Once you have configured your Trigger Scene , enter the "Smart Settings" page and tap the "+" icon next to "Add to Siri". On the "Add to Siri" page, tap the red record button to record your command. Then, tap "Done".

Step 2: Once you have recorded your action(s), tap "Save" on the top right on the "Smart Settings" Page.
Please not that in order to execute your command, the exact phrase must be said. (Example:"Plug On")

Step 3: You will see your new Trigger Scene equipped with “Add to Siri” functionality under the “Smart Scenes” tab.

Smart Scenes

For this example, we are creating an Automatic Scene named “Rainy Days” to automatically execute the “Globe Smart Plug” to turn on when it is a rainy day.

Step 1: Open the Globe Suite™ App and tap “Smart Scenes” located at the bottom of the page. Then, tap “Add Smart Scene” or tap the "+" icon the top right.

Step 2: In the “Add Smart Scene” page, tap "Automatic Scene" and enter the scene name. Then, tap "Confirm"

Step 3: Next to "When any condition is met" tap the "+" icon or tap "Add Condition". Then, on the "Select Condition" page, tap "Weather".

Step 4: On the "Weather" page tap "Rainy day". Then, tap "Next".

Step 5: Next to "Execute the following actions" tap the "+" icon or tap "Add Action". Then, on the "Select Action" page, tap "Globe Smart Plug".

Step 6: On the "Power" page, tap "ON". Then, tap "Save".

Step 7: Once you have configured your actions, tap the “Save” button at the top right corner and you will see your new Automatic Scene on the “Smart Scenes” page. Your actions will automatically execute when these conditions are met. (Example: When it's raining, your plug will turn on).

Optional Step: You can edit the background image of your scene at any time by selecting the "Image Edit Icon" in the bottom right corner of the title section. Then, tap the image you wish to choose from the "Select Image" screen.
If your scene is already created, simply tap the background image of the scene itself and follow these steps. If you are creating a new scene, you can change the picture after Step 1 (Naming the Scene).

For this example, we are creating a Trigger Scene named “Turn ON” to execute the “Office Bulb” to turn on.

Step 1: Open the Globe Suite™ App and tap “Smart Scenes” located at the bottom of the page. Then, tap “Add Smart Scene” or tap the "+" icon on the top right.

Step 2: In the “Add Smart Scene” page, tap "Trigger Scene" and enter the scene name. Then, tap "Confirm"

Step 3: Next to "Execute the following actions" tap the "+" icon or tap "Add Action". Then, on the "Select Action" page, tap "Globe Smart Plug".

Step 4: On the "Select Function" page, tap "Power". Then, on the "Power" page tap "On".

Step 5: Once you have configured your actions, you will see your new Trigger Scene under the “Smart Scenes” tab.

Optional Step: You can edit the background image of your scene at any time by selecting the "Image Edit Icon" in the bottom right corner of the title section. Then, tap the image you wish to choose from the "Select Image" screen.
If your scene is already created, simply tap the background image of the scene itself and follow these steps. If you are creating a new scene, you can change the picture after Step 1 (Naming the Scene).

Step 1: Create a Trigger Scene or Automatic Scene in the Globe Suite™ App using the steps above.

Step 2: Open the Alexa App.

Step 3: Tap "Scenes". Then, tap "Discover Scenes"

Step 4: Once your scenes are found, they will be synced and you can begin to use Amazon Alexa to control your scenes.

Schedule or Timer

Step 1: Open the Globe Suite™ App and from the "All Devices" list tap your Globe Suite™ Device.Then, tap the "Schedule" button at the bottom of the page.

Step 2: On the bottom of the "Schedule" page, tap “Add Schedule”. Then, on the "Add Schedule" page, configure your schedule.

Step 3: Once you configure your schedule, tap "Save" and it will appear on your "Schedule List".

Step 4: To set a timer, tap "Timer at the bottom right corner. Then, tap "Okay".

Removing or Restoring a Device

Step 1: Open the Globe Suite™ App and from the "All Devices" list select the Globe Suite™ Plug. Then, tap the Device Settings Icon "..." on the top right corner.

Step 2: Tap "Remove Device". Then, tap “Confirm” to remove this device.
Please note that if you would like to re-add this device, you will have to go through the set-up process again.

Step 1: Open the Globe Suite™ App and from the "All Devices" list select Globe Suite™ Plug. Tap the Device Settings Icon "..."on the top right corner.

Step 2: Tap "Restore Manufacturer Defaults”. Then, tap “Confirm” to remove your device and restore to factory settings on this device.
Please note that if you would like to re-add this device, you will have to go through the set-up process again.

Device Information

Step 1: Open the Globe Suite™ App and from the "All Devices" list tape the Globe Suite™ Plug . Then, tap the Device Settings Icon "..." located on the top right corner.
